This video tutorial will take you through all of the necessary steps of the Master Cleanse.
The Master Cleanse is a fast that has been around for over 60 years. Created by Stanley Burroughs, the diet is based on the idea that we are constantly putting toxins into our systems and need to periodically flush them out.
While on the diet - which can last anywhere from 10 days to upwards of 40 - you consume absolutely no food. You do not put anything into your system except for a special lemonade mixture, and salt water.
You will receive all of the necessary vitamins, minerals and calories from the lemonade and drink it throughout the day, whenever you feel like eating. The salt water is for a daily 'flush' of your system and is never absorbed by your body.
This cleanse is very effective at cleaning your intenstines and digestive system. You don't get hungry on the cleanse because the lemonade concentrate is able to bypass your digestive system, never 'turning it on'.
You Will Need:
Lemonade:
*Fresh, filtered or bottled water
*Fresh lemons
*Grade B Organic Maple Syrup
*Cayenne pepper
Salt Water Flush:
*Pure sea salt (no iodine, no additives)
*Fresh, filtered or bottled water
*A juicer or lemon squeezer
*Bottles to hold the mixes
